Essay collection edited by Ryan Holston and Justin Garrison published

On May 1, 2020, the volume The Historical Mind: Humanistic Renewal in a Post-Constitutional Age was released.  Edited by Ryan Holston (Virginia Military Institute) and Justin Garrison (Roanoke College), the book explores the ideas and contemporary implications of the humanism of Irving Babbitt and Claes Ryn.

Annual APL Conference, June 7-9, 2019

The APL Annual Meeting convened on June 7-9, 2019 in Baltimore, MD., around the theme “America the Beautiful.” Keynote addresses Bradley Birzer (Hillsdale College), Eric Adler (University of Maryland), and Mark Bauerlein (First Things Magazine) as well as a debate between Bruce Frohnen (Ohio Northern University) and Richard Reinsch (Law and Liberty).
